We want to make philanthropy and sustainability a pillar of our business because we think it’s the right thing to do - and we believe that our customers care about impact and sustainability too!
There are three key ways that we can reduce our impact on the environment; as a business, how are products are made and what they are made of, and finally in the reuse and recycling of our products.

As a business, Acoustic Blinds and Curtains is committed to making our business and our partner businesses more sustainable.
We have completed work with an independent sustainability consultant and are constantly looking at new ways to reduce our environmental impact.
Our business and products also support sustainability through improved acoustics and reduced noise pollution. Green Star Building requires internal and external noise levels are controlled through an acoustic comfort strategy.
In addition to the acoustic benefits of our products (see previous) - we are committed to developing more acoustic fabrics with low environmental impact.
We offer a range of 100% recycled polyester which originates from post-consumer plastic bottles.
These fabrics offer the same level of performance and quality as polyester yarns made of virgin polymers - requiring fewer processing stages than virgin polyester and dyed in the spinning stage to avoid the waste of water.
Our green manufacturing processes include:
- Use of rainwater
- Packing of product in recyclables
- Avoidance of chemical finishing processes
- Natural compensation areas at manufacturing
Consumption of energy resources: 50.6 MJ
Global warming potential: 3.88kg CO2 eq
Water consumption: 3.26 L

Providing recycling solutions for fashion, uniforms and other textiles whilst creating ‘closed loop’ programs one garment at a time.
