Will Acoustic Curtains work for me?

This is the most important question. But it is also the most difficult because every acoustic environment is different and results may vary.

Can I order a sample?

Yes we offer samples for all of our blinds and curtains.

It’s sometimes challenging to visualise how a fabric would work in a room setting so we encourage to order samples if you’re unsure. Note that samples are free, however there is a small charge for delivery. Contact us to request a colour sample and for custom colours or designs.

How do I measure my curtains?

Can I motorise my curtain?

Yes. We offer curtain motors and remotes for all our curtains. You can add this to your order under Product Options.

Where are your curtains made?

All of our curtains are Australian made - and we’re proud of it!

How long does it take / what is your lead time?

Our Acoustic Curtains are made just for you and there are a number of steps involved. Our normal lead times for Acoustic Curtains is 4-6 weeks. See Your Product Journey.

However lead times vary based on a number of factors including delivery times and installers schedules.

What is your minimum and maximum curtain size?

The minimum curtain size is 500mm width by 1000mm drop.

There is no maximum curtain size.

We’ve tried to include as much information as we can on each of the product pages however if you have any specific questions please contact us directly by phone or email.

What is included with my curtain (brackets, track etc)?

All curtains are delivered as a finished product - ready to be installed. All curtains include brackets and a track. You will be able to customise these components and to add optional extras when you order your curtain.

How do I clean my curtain?

To remove dust from the curtain we recommend closing the curtain fully and using a feather duster to lightly dust the curtain. If the curtain is marked and you want to clean a specific area use warm soapy water and dab with a damp cloth. Please don’t use heavy duty or industrial strength cleaning products or abrasive cleaners. Once you have cleaned the curtain, leave the curtain closed to dry naturally.

The minimum blind size is 100mm width by 100mm drop.

The maximum depends on your blind material. Maximum width ranges from 3000-3100mm. Maximum drop ranges from 3200-3300mm.

What is included with my blind (chain, bar etc)?

All blinds are delivered as a finished product - ready to be installed. All blinds include a top bar with fittings, control chain (unless you have selected to motorise your blind) and base bar. You will be able to customise these components and to add optional extras when you order your blind.

How do I clean my blind?

To remove dust from the blind we recommend closing the blind fully and using a feather duster to lightly dust the blind. If the blind is marked and you want to clean a specific area use warm soapy water and dab with a damp cloth. Please don’t use heavy duty or industrial strength cleaning products or abrasive cleaners. Once you have cleaned the blind, leave the blind closed to dry naturally.

DELIVERY
How much does delivery cost in Australia?

Delivery is free in Australia.

Additional costs may apply for regional and remote areas. Please contact us directly by phone or email for more information.

How long does delivery take?

All of our blinds and curtains are Australian made, so you can expect delivery within 1 month. During busy periods our delivery time frames can extend, however we will be sure to let you know if this is likely to happen.

What happens if I'm not home?

The delivery company will leave you a card to get in touch with them and arrange for the order to be collected or re-delivered at another time.

Do you deliver outside Australia (international delivery)?

Can you deliver to a PO Box?

We can deliver your sample to a PO Box, but we cannot deliver your blind or curtain to a PO Box. All of our blinds and curtains are delivered using freight companies, so we're unable to deliver to a PO Box address.

How do I track my order?

After you place your order, we will send you emails to keep you up to date with the progress of your blind or curtain. Once your blind or curtain is sent for delivery we will send you tracking details so you can track the delivery.

What do I do if my blind or curtain is damaged in delivery?

Unfortunately accidents in delivery do happen. If your blind or curtain is damaged in delivery please contact us directly by phone or email with photos of the damaged packaging, blind or curtain and we'll organise to have the damaged blinds or curtains replaced.


RETURNS & WARRANTIES
Do you offer any warranty?

We’re confident in the quality of our products so we offer a 3 year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Legal:
If your product is defective during the warranty period, we will repair or replace the product. This shall be your sole remedy under this Warranty.

The Warranty is extended to the original retail purchaser only. The warranty cannot be transferred to the new owner or tenants.

The Warranty does not cover:
- Accident, alteration or misuse.
- Exposure to elements. Our blinds and curtains are indoor products and any exposure to the elements will void warranty.
- Failure to follow measurement, installation, cleaning or maintenance instructions
- Blinds and curtains fitted in a non domestic environment
- Normal wear and tear including the normal fading of fabrics.
- Colour variations. Our samples will give you an indication of the finished product however they cannot be used as a guaranteed precise match
- Any damage resulting from removal of the product or reinstallation not in accordance with the product installation instructions provided by Acoustic Blinds and Curtains.

This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other obligations or liabilities. In no event shall Acoustic Blinds and Curtains be liable or responsible for incidental or consequential damages or for any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense or fee. This guarantee does not affect the consumer's statutory rights under applicable national laws in force. Please contact Acoustic Blinds and Curtains if you have any questions regarding our products or warranty policy.

Can I exchange or return my blind or curtain?

Unfortunately not. Because all of our blinds and curtains are made just for you - we are unable to offer a refund or exchange unless the product has a manufacturing defect.
